About the hierarchy of the personnel (organizational structure).

ANSWER:-
It is the framework of auhority relations among individual and groups in an organization.
Various types of organizations structure are there viz. Line, Line and Staff,
Functional, Divisional and Matrix. The place of HP department in the total organizational set up depends on whether a unit is large or small.

Retrenchment is the termination of an employee by an employer for reason other than a punishment moted out by disciplinary action.
Employees terminated in such a manner are financially compensated by the employer. This kind of compensation is known as retrenchment competition.
